To meet the basic qualifications for the role of Systems Engineer, you must have:

• 3+ years of computer and/or electronics industry experience

• Strong computer skills and knowledge including:
  • Microsoft Windows OS
  • SQL Server
  • MS Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint &  Visio
• You may need a valid driver's license and the ability to travel on occasion, such as for training.

The collaborative nature of this build requires that employees work on-site even during the Covid-19 pandemic. Precautions, including required mask wearing when stepping away from your desk, plexiglass separators between desks, extra cleaning precautions and more, are in place to protect employee safety.

As Systems Engineer, you will report to the Engineering Manager at G4S (typically weekly) while working with and taking daily direction from leadership at the client's site. You will be responsible for working in tandem with the IT group, including the PM office and Infrastructure, Network, Physical Security (of which you'll be a part), and Administration teams. The group is in the midst of designing and installing physical security and technology infrastructure systems to support customers across the Northeast. You will leverage your working knowledge of computer OS, networks and program-specific user interfaces, along with your AMAG expertise, to support those efforts. Additionally, you will call on your strong leadership, interpersonal and customer service skills to work with the customer, the various teams, and users.

Your specific duties may include:

• Completing the detailed design, and/or implementing the designed solution, along with identifying and developing appropriate change orders
• Performing design calculations, generating documentation, identifying configurations, constructing test plans and procedures, producing training plans and material
• Performing configurations, implementing testing, and conducting training
• Troubleshooting and maintaining systems as directed by department and client leadership
• Working closely with system manufacturers, professional services and others ensure program success
• Acting as a self-starter recommending beneficial system improvements/enhancements
• Following all Security Technical policies and procedures
• Completing reports and required documentation
